Dear artist,
We are writing to invite you to participate in 'ARES' from the 26th of June to the 6th of July 2007. 'ARES' is an international performance art exchange project between Northern Ireland and Transylvania Region Romania.
The event will include original live work from local and international artists, artist talks/discussion and artist workshops on performance. The event will be hosted by Strule Art Centre, Omagh and Catalyst Arts Gallery, Belfast Northern Ireland.
Invited Artists are:
Transylvania Region Romania : UTO Gusztav, KOzMA Levente, Ileana Pintilie Teleaga, TORO Attila, Szabo Krisztina, KEREZSI Nemere, UTO Kinga, VANCSA Domokos and VETRO Barnabas.
Artists – N.Ireland: Hugh O’Donnell, Elina Hartzell, Sandra Johnston, Alastair MacLennan, Brian Connolly, Brian Patterson, Sinead O’Donnell, Colm Clarke and Leo Devlin.
We are seeking assistance from self-generated revenue through a variety of private and public sources, including arts councils, foundations and co-sponsorships with other organizations.
